PROGRAM MANAGEMENT SERVICES

Program Management Services provide supervision of all team members, development of overall program design and evaluation of the effectiveness of the program after participant completion.  The designated staff for Program Management serves as the “gatekeeper” in order to ensure all designed services are appropriately implemented.  The Program Management staff updates the tracking system used by URMAP staff, reviews curriculum and coordinates any modifications as well as identifying and providing solutions to any program challenges.  The Program Manager coordinates with the Trades Council, construction liaisons, businesses and other construction entities to determine trade specific needs in order to effectively prepare participants.

The Program Management staff ensures the success of the URMAP program which will prove beneficial to all partners, agencies, businesses, staff and participants.

CASE MANAGEMENT SERVICES

Case Management Services are geared to assess immediate needs, set individual employment goals and develop intensive case plans to provide resource and support for identified barriers.  These services also include direct follow up with participants and case note documentation.  The designated staff for Case Management serves as an advocate for participants, provides thorough tracking of participant progress and coordinates with all services provided to participants throughout the entire program phase.  In addition, the Case Manager networks with outreach service agencies to provide participant support in the areas of:
  • Housing
  • Food
  • Clothing
  • Health Need Services
  • Bureau of Motor Vehicles
  • GED / High School provisions (for participants without a GED or High School diploma)

UNION LIAISON SERVICES

Union Liaison Services provide a link between the participants, local Building and Construction Trades. A designated Union Liaison attends Building and Construction Trades Council meetings and assists in the preparation of participants as they seek Union placement through the application, testing and placement phases.  The Union Liaison plays an intricate part by preparing each participant for Union trades employment.

TRACKING

The URMAP philosophy incorporates the use of a web-based Online Tracking System in order to evaluate the effectiveness of the program for participants.  The tracking system is uniquely designed to capture participant demographics as well as provide a resource to staff when documenting progress, follow up and case notes.  This custom tracking system gives staff the ability to monitor our participants along their path to success.  All participants are continually monitored for up to 2 years.
